Small GroupsOn-Going Small Groups
Ongoing Small Groups - Consist of 5-10 people who meet regularly for study of God’s word, prayer, fellowship, and acts of service, with an emphasis on reaching out to others with the Love of Jesus. This type of setting provides an intimate environment to grow in faith and develop close relationships. Some groups study specified topics, while others are formed around a common need or interest. As individual groups grow in size, they sub-divide and new groups are formed.

COMING DURING LENT 2012“40 Days With Jesus & His Cross Words”Sun., Feb. 26 - April 8
During Lent we are offering this congregation-wide spiritual growth opportunity to help people know Jesus Christ or to know Him better. We will look at the 7 last "words" (actually, short sentences) our Lord Jesus spoke from the cross. This "40 Days..." program will include Sunday worship with coordinated sermon themes, personal daily devotional readings, and small group gatherings (for study of God's word, prayer, and fellowship). We hope all who worship at RLC will participate in all 3 aspects, as well as reach out to invite others who don't know Jesus or who have no church home.
HEAR ... all seven messages in our Sunday Sermon Series: "40 Days With Jesus & His Cross Words."
READ ... the weekly Bible readings & reflections in the daily devotional guide, "Words of Life From the Cross".
JOIN ... a home-based small group that meets weekly for 6 weeks. Register on the "Registration Form" at the church, or contact Deacon Shirley (deacon@rlccairo.org) to register. You may also FORM YOUR OWN GROUP - any RLC member can gather 2-10 people who need to grow in knowing Jesus. Contact Deacon Shirley if this option interests you.
REACH OUT ... to invite non-Christian friends, or those with no church home, to participate by attending a small group or worship with you.
We hope to include 200 people from RLC and 100 people who are outside the church. Please pray for hearts to open & schedules to be cleared for this exciting opportunity to grow in faith. Questions? Need more info? Want to form your own group? Contact Deacon Shirley (518-622-3286 or Deacon@RLCCairo.org.)
